Robots are changing

Robots aren't new. They've been welding and painting in factories since the 1960s and they're very good at it. The catch was always the conditions around them. A conventional robot needs the world held still: parts in fixed positions, a cage, a program written for exactly one task. Change the task and you pay for the integration again. That's why robots filled car plants and stayed rare almost everywhere else.

AI is what's changing them. A robot can now see what's actually in front of it, handle parts that arrive at odd angles, and pick up a new task by being shown it rather than reprogrammed. That moves the line of what's worth automating. Small batches, frequent changeovers and jobs that vary a little every time are all within reach now.

So the question isn't really whether a machine can do the work. It's whether doing it that way pays. That's a business question, and most companies in this field aren't built to answer it — they lead with the hardware and talk to other engineers. We'd rather start with your operation and what the work actually costs you. If automating a task won't produce a real return, we'll tell you and leave it alone.

We build the whole stack ourselves: software, hardware, data, training and evaluation. That means we can change things quickly instead of waiting on a supplier. And when we take a job on, we take all of it — the hardware, the installation, the daily running and the support long after the first day. You shouldn't have to become a robotics expert or line up a row of vendors to keep it working.
